I just installed a Magpul PRS stock on my RRA .223 AR. I was pleased that within a few moments of adjustment in prone position how I was able to have an easily repeatable position with correct eye relief, cheek weld and eye position on the scope. Comfort in position was much improved too. The stock looks awkward and none too pretty, but it sure do work nicely. The stock appears to be solidly made too.
Any of you have similar experience with the PRS?

downside is lack of a decent sling attachment and it weighs a ton

The weight can be nice; it helps balance a heavy barrel on two of my ARs. But those two guns are bench guns primarily, so the fact that their overall weight is high doesn't bother me much. YMMV

I have one on a DPMS LR308-B and love it! It offsets the heavy barrel and turned the rifle into an amazing gun.

CAD has a quick detach setup seen here: http://cascadiaarmamentdesign.com/store/index.php?main_page=page_2 that I just ordered for my new AR10 with a Magpul PRS stock.

Only fired 50 or so rounds through her so far since I had my knees replaced a few days after getting the rifle. But so far I absolutely LOVE that stock. With just a small effort I got it fitting me perfectly. Almost as perfect as a couple of my measured, custom fitted stocks for a couple of my high end bolters.

Out of the box the PRS has a single sling point that can be relocated in four different positions. The CAD sling point allows you to use a QD. I bought the double sling point pack from CAD. I can switch from left to right side sling in seconds.

I'm not sure I would use a PRS on a AR15, but on the AR10 class of rifles the added weight can reduce perceived recoil. The picatinny rail on the bottom allows a mono-pod attaching point.

On the AR15 size weapons I prefer the UBR or Vltor emod A5.

I've wanted one for a while for my SPRish AR, but cant justify the price over the 'standard A2 stock. Also turned off after handling them at shows a few times, that thing is HEAVY! Maybe if I can ever find one for $150 I'd pick it up.

I have one on a long barreled AR I build for Doe culling. It's a great stock if you aren't going to be moving the rifle around much. It's perfect for precision AR builds.

I have one on my AR-10T and also have one on my LWRC DMR 18". It works great for shooting with a scope, but I wouldnt use one on a rifle with a red dot or just irons. Too heavy to use on a standard short (16") AR. But for precision shooting from the bench or prone, it cant be beat.
