I know Magpul and possible other companies are selling magazines to states with pending AWB legislation first. I think this is a great strategy and am glad to wait a few extra weeks or months for my magazines so that the people in other states can get them first.
So my idea here is why not make these mags just like all the others but with no time stamp and sell them with no warranty in those states. Then after an AWB passes in those states (if one does) continue manufacturing these same exact magazines and sell them in other states. Of course keep up with the current production magazines with the time stamp for use in non-ban states too.
This would cause incredible confusion as to what magazine it pre and post ban down the road. People from ban states could legally purchase these special edition mags in a neighboring state and then do what they want with them.
Hell for that matter make mags that say for LEO use only on them again, mags that say for civilian use only, mags that only indicate a 10 round capacity but hold 30 rounds. Make this whole thing as confusing as possible in these states.
Just a thought.
