Does anyone know if the shipping and billing address have to match if you order ammo online? For example, could you have your order shipped to your work address?

I've had stuff delivered. Don't know if it helps, but my billing and shipping addresses are different.

As said above, it depends on the dealer. Some places don't mind, some get ansty when the addresses don't match, in some cases outright refusing to take your buisness.

I got a better idea, especially considering your question has been answered as well as it possibly can be. Why not call the operation you'd like to purchase ammo from, and ask them if they have a problem shipping to somehwere other than your billing address ? Assuming that's even what you want to do, and this isn't all rhetorical.

I think its more of a credit card billing issue. Most won't approve the transaction if it doesn't agree with where your credit card bill goes. Sites that I have ordered from have separate screens for each. My billing and delivery info are different, no problem having the big brown truck show up with the goodies.

If I am buying ammo, that is loaded rounds, I always have them shipped to my office address because they sometimes require a signature and the delivery people, ups, fedex will not leave them at the door of my house. I have never had a problem doing this with any one. I ship a lot of stuff to different addresses other than my own billing address.

Mostly, I think it matters about if your credit/debit card billing address matches the shipping address, due to fraud.
