I just got my first set of Marschal grips, for my FEG BR61. Red stained, checkered wattle, they are just gorgeous! Fit and finish was superb. I would recommend them to anyone.
I bought my first "non-revolver" pistol last week- A Bulgarian circle 10 Military Makarov. It came with a holster, (2) mags, an extra perfect military grip, and cleaning rod for $200 otd.
Heads up: Numrich Gun Parts has E.German Makarov mags for under $12 each if you buy (2) or more:
I'll join. I have 2, a military Bulgarian and a Russian. The finish on the Russian was ruined by some Bubba, trying to make it look two-toned. I'll try and upload some pictures.
I sure do like the look of some of the one's posted here, especially yours, Richard. Did you do the metal refinish work? It looks very professional and clean. I looked up the Hakan site and the prices aren't posted. I understand why...he makes each to individual order! Curiously, will you share what the average cost of one grip set amounts to?
It was the first handgun I ever purchased. Got it shortly after turning 21. For quite some time, it was the only gun I ever carried. Its a .380 and it carries 95 grain Winchester SXT. I bought a set of Makawrap grips for it but the finger grooves didn't suit me. I was just about to order a different set when I decided to slice the grooves off to see if that helped. It did help. I really like the grips. Just a shame they don't make them any more.
