Makarov gunsmith?

I was thinking about buying a Makarov in the near future. The sights on the Bulgarian versions I have seen are really small. I went to Makarov.com to see if they did custom work but the site says that they are not accepting any new guns for the forseeable future. Does anyone know of any other 'smiths that do work on Maks? I appreciate the info.

If you just want to put new sites on, any competent 'smith should be able to handle that.

Even for working on internals, the Mak is just about the most simple design there is.

One of the FLGs around here just installed some AO (that still the name they go by?) Express sights on my Mak. Just involved cutting a dovetail up front and lowering the top "rib" behind the rear dovetail, so the vertical line on the new rear sight was visible.
