makarov price check

I normally buy most of my guns from local gun shows and gun shops. I havent seen a makarov (of any flavor!) in over a year so I had planned of buying a bulgarian mak from KY Imports...but alas they no longer sell firearms! Other than gunbroker or gunsamerica is there anyone that sells quality makarovs at reasonable prices? Also...what is a reasonable price these days?

There are no more Bulgarians left to import so none of the major distributors have any. Some EGs came in not long ago. They are pricy but EGs are expensive now.

I picked-up this great Bulgy set recently for $250. Seems it may have been a little high, but well worth it in my opinion. The East Germans are going for $350-$500 and the military Russian for $400-$550. Good luck! This is a great pistol design....only 27 parts!!!

Check the pawn shops.

A while back I found a nice .380 for $179 in a local pawn shop.

I still see Maks at the gun shows but the lowest price was $230 a few months ago.
