That's for me to know and not you!
I am developing a project that will comprise as many links for firearms, accessories, ammunition, reloading/loading and forums and major websites. I wanted to know if you guys would like to see it as a web page or as a thread here on the forum. I want to make it as easy as possible and as functionally sound for you guys as possible. Personally I would like to make a web page but its gonna take me longer to compile the page than a thread. But as for the thread it will not be as easy in my opinion to view plus you wont get the nice format. Please tell me what you think.

Start a thread here then use that to build a webpage. That way people can contribute links for you.

I sure appreciate your willingness to put together some great firearm links :)

The webpage sounds like a better idea to me. Once you get it formatted, it won't be hard to add in new links. However, if you simply posted it here, it could get pretty tricky to add new links once your thread grew. The webpage would give you a lot more options too, plus it'd be tidy and attract more traffic.

No problem guys. I need the links too :p. I am going to start a thread looking to fill in the holes in my firearms links. But first I need to compile what i have for firearms manufacturers. All help is appreciated. I was discussing it with a friend who works next to me and I believe it is wise to do both.

You should use wiki software. That way there can be multiple contibutors.

Mods. . . how about www.thehighroad.org/wiki/

This could be expanded to include all kinds of the best info for guns. Imagine an illustrated assembly manual for every gun you can think of, expanded glossary of terms, product reviews. . . the mind boggles. With a little work we could even synchronize the login system with the forum login system, and also require logins to edit the wiki site.

I have setup wiki sites for a lot of different dedicated topics.
I setup this site for my friend to write his thesis on.
I set up this site as a wiki for geocaching topics
My personal wiki, which I used for a school project.

I think jlbraun's idea of doing a thread here initially, so others can contibute links, offfer any help, advice, web design expertise, etc about the web page, while you are bulding it, would be a good way to go.Would also help you get more exsposure to the website that way I think, and thus help more people out.just my .02 cents though....
