That .223 HK semi-auto and that .308 Remington bolt action have nothing in common other than loud noises.
Did you mean to post a Rem 700 ADL/BDL/CDL above the AICS evil green Remmy? That would be a decent comparison, put up Grampa's deer-gitter and anything in an AI stock with a detachable box mag, bipod, USO scope, and big fat sound suppressor.
Then point out that you'd never hear the shot that got you from either one, but at least bystanders would be spared hearing damage from the suppressed one.
