making your own gun

i'm a machinist and would love to try and make a handgun, can someone just make a gun then register it? do you need a permit to manufacture? i'm from canada so most of you guys will not know, thanks

and install a scope !! if I were you I would call the ATF and ask !!

rob jerico: Goto www.canadiangunnutz.com and ask the same question, then at least you are asking Canadians about Canadian laws and rules. And yes it can be done but I am not sure of all the regs. ASK at GUN NUTZ.
