I was at work when this happened. All the antis jumped all over it saying HCP should be outlawed ect.

I just told them "you can't fix stupid, had his firearm been in a good holster it wouldn't have went off"

Well, they started in with how irresponsible it was.. someone could have been killed... ect

Only thing i could say back was " It was irresponsible, dangerous and stupid just like the DUI's y'all been gettin" (they each had at least one)

I guess my point is, carry responsibly. It just makes us all look bad.

Your right , you can't fix stupid. Not sure what else needs to be said about this guy. Maybe people should have a certain IQ to be able to own a firearm Not to high or to low.

Years ago, when I was a newbie reporter for a large western daily newspaper, one of my chores was to call the hospitals, to see if anything newsworthy had happened.

One day, I spoke to a nurse, who giggled, and told me that a guy was admitted earlier that day who had blown a Big Mac off his hindside. :D

It seems he and a couple of buddies were shooting, and had consumed several beers in the course of the afternoon. Then, they had to try fast-draw, :what: with the noted results!

You can't fix stupid, :banghead: but sometimes you can head it off, so it doesn't hurt any one!

it is an accident things happen that cant be controlled like a guy cuts off his finger with a saw after working with them for 40 years I have seen it a lot. no one is perfect 100% of the time but a lot of people mistakenly think they are

And people wonder why "good holster" ranks highest in importance right after the firearm itself.
