if eternal vigilance is the price of freedom i don't see how alcohol consumption can be part of the equation. i guess if you are terminally ill it would be alright
 
Every drunk who's arrested has some tale about how they were doing nothing wrong and the big, bad police came by just to violate their rights.

You got that right! Maybe 1 in 100 has any validity.
 
That I may have been too blunt doesn't alter the fact that I was right, so I'll restate:

We don't know you're not a criminal, either. Don't tell me you don't understand exactly the point I'm making.
OK blunt is one description, I choose another, but that doesn't alter the fact that your comment was irrelevant nonsense that was meant only to get the response from me that you got

We are not discussing a thread about me being arrested for crimes resulting from the police being call to my home in response to a disturbance, such as bottle throwing, which was the case here.

Nobody has come out and said that they do not know if police statements about my criminal activities are true, as was the case here.
