7 or 8 years ago when I got interested in 32 caliber revolvers, I wanted a S&W K-frame K-32 or Model 16. Well, they are about as rare as hen's teeth and I actually have never seen one in the "flesh". I did find a Model 16-4 but it is chambered in 32 H&R Mag and even then, I've only seen one other 16-4.
A few weeks ago, I was cruising the internet and ran into a listing for a new Beretta Manurhin MR32 Match revolver chambered in 32SWL. So, I indulged
Apparently, the same parent company owns Beretta and the company that manufactures Manurhin firearms so it sounds like they took advantage of Beretta's present in the United states to import the gun.
My MR32 has a 6" barrel and is based on Manurhin's MR73 357 Magnum revolver. It is DA/SA. There is a SA version available as well as the MR38, 38 Special.
They are priced comparable to a good to excellent S&W K-32.
I've shot one box of 32 Wadcutters through it and it is a dream to shoot.
