I am wanting to put a red dot sight on my Mark III 22/45. I am looking for something in the $50-$100 range. Can anyone suggest a good product that you have personally had experience with. Thank you in advance.

I make it a point to not recommend ANYTHING but I have been using inexpensive ($30) BSA Red Dots sights for years on everything from Ruger 22/45 pistols to shotguns. I have something over two dozen and just ordered another six.
One is on my Ruger 22/45.

Last week when shooting the S&W M&P 15-22, the (new) BSA started acting up. Under the battery is a spanner nut that has been known to come loose or not tightened at the factory. Easily tightened. That's about the extent of trouble with the cheap sight, although over the years I've a couple go bad.
But then, I've had a couple expensive Aimpoints go bad also.

Anyhow they are on sale at Natchez for $19.99. That's why I bought 6 more.:D

The appearance and mount has been recently changed from the web picture.

Truglo

I have/had many different brands of red dots.
I have found that the Truglo brand have the best intregal mount design, the best "optics" and are available in local stores for $30-$50.

Just sayin'

Thank you both for your input. I am debating on picking up one from the website you recommended. If it goes bad eventually than hey im out $20 bucks big whoop. thanks again fellas.

I run a 1" UltraDot on my 22/45. Paid $40 on ebay for it, but new ones are just over $100.
