Very nice! This is the only thing I feel like I'm missing out on by going the .45 Colt route instead of .44 Mag. I wish they'd make this same model in .45 Colt :(

have you had any trouble finding ammo for it?....I don't shoot my blued version due to the fact that I can't find ammo (or at least reasonable priced stuff)

NICE! Like to hear how it shoots when you get around to it. Had a 1894 44 mag about 20 years ago , shot really well , would like to get one again.

Very nice. This exact model is on my "to-buy" list. If I had a large piece of property here in the Pacific Northwest, that's the rifle I'd carry while out patrolling my land. It's resistant to harsh weather, packs 10-rounds of .44 Magnum (which I just began reloading), it would compliment a nice .44 Magnum revolver on the hip, it's light and quick-handling, and I just love an open-sighted lever gun in thick brush and timber. Let us know how it shoots, cycles, and handles.

Hello guys I decided to scoped this 1894, I know I'm supposed to shoot it with just iron sights but my eye sights can't see any shots past 50yds when i'm shooting my other rifles and i dont really want to waste ammo so thats my reason and i'm sticking with it..I haven't tried her yet hopefully this week end..anyway here it is..its a Leupold 2x7x33 i thought that should be plenty enough for a 100yds to 150yds shot if i ever go hunting..Thanks for all the nice comments..
