I would like to buy a marlin 1894C 357, but can't seem to find it anywhere. If anyone knows, are they still made or are they just short supply?

When I bought my Marlin 1894cb (cowboy) model I initially set out to get the 1894c but they weren't anywhere around here to be found. I was told by 3 gun dealers that Marlin was not keeping up with demand. I ended up having to spend more for the Cowboy model but glad I did now. Main difference is the cowboy model has a octagonal barrel which is personal preference anyhow but I like it. You might check Gun Broker or Guns America because I seen a couple on there about a week ago.

If you do get one then definitely check out the Wild West Trigger upgrade for it. A member 1858 on here referred me to one and I just installed it and it's terrific to say the least. Nice 2 1/2 pound trigger pull with no creep.

I am seeing the same problems with the CB model in 357. I have a revolver that is 357 and would like to only have to get one type of ammo.
