Marlin 1895

Folks if you happen to know where I could located a Marlin 1895 SBL Guide Gun please let me know. I have been looking to replace mine for some time with out any luck. I lost mine in a vehicle fire and have missed it ever since. This is the stainless model with grey laminate stock and full length rail. Thank you..

There are a few on Gunbroker right now, but the prices have gone up quite a bit in the last couple years.

I ran into one yesterday, a mint 2007 stainless rifle, with a sling and ammo band. I could not believe my eyes; $549. It looked as if had never even been fired.

I had just recently paid $750 for essentially the same rifle in not as good condition :banghead:

Well, I didn't need another one so after explaining what a steal the rifle was to another customer, he left with it.

I still wish I had bought the black 1895 but I bought a CZ 453 instead. It was a tough choice. Of course "both" was the correct choice but my wallet didn't agree.
