yes! assuming you are willing to play gunsmith. the biggest improvement I got was cutting a half a coil off each end of the hammer spring. bending the trigger return spring up a bit helps, and if you are really adventurous you can work on the sear. Strip the gun down and look at teh sear engagement, then reduce it. I used a whet stone. it was kinda fun.
