been looking for a while, finally found one today. excellent condition, but i paid too much :uhoh: - $400 - its 20 years old . Wolff 21# recoil spring & Blackjack recoil buffer are on the way. also a couple 20 round clips to go with the 12 rounder it came with. it uses S&W 59 series mags up to 30 rounds, theres even a 72 round drum mag that can be used.

i've wanted a camp/ranch carbine for a long time. love the mini 14, but dont want .223 or .30, and didn't want to spend a thousand bucks. just something to keep handy on the property, and 9mm fits the bill. pretty cool little rifle, should be alot of fun.

I've been wanting one too..... saw one two weeks ago at a gun show..... the guy wanted $350 for it...... but it was beat up really bad...... and really bad sanding marks where a pathetic attempt to repair the big gouges in the stock...... I just did not want to have to find a new stock and hope the gun actually worked..... he would not budge on price either..... so I let him keep it.....I'll look for a better one....

yea, the camp 9 would definitely be on my buy list if I didnt already have an uzi. seems to beat the competition like the ruger PC9, keltec 2000 and beretta cx4 as far as price.

gwillys, $400 is a pretty good deal on a Camp 9 in good shape. You certainly didn't overpay. As for the age, guns that are well-maintained can last a VERY long time.
Check the hammer strut bridge (part #28 on the diagram) and replace it if it's bent or broken.

gwillys congrats on your camp you wont regret it, they are a blast to shoot and pretty darn accurate as well. make sure it is not loaded and take a look at the cool rifling in that puppy. last week put on a scope and tried 50 yards with some reloads

not bad at all for and old carbine

hey TehK1w1, thanks for the tip on the hammer strut bridge :)
its really in nice shape for a 1989 model. missing the Front Sight Ramp Hood, which i've ordered. i'll dissect it today & check out the innards.
