Marlin Glenfield model 60

[River Fox]

I was cleaning my Glenfield model 60 22 cal. and the bolt stuck in the open position. It is not simly a matter of pulling it out some and then the bolt will close. It closes 1/2 way and then feel like it hits some other metal because it reall gets stuck. I have clean it 6 times while assembled. I have not yet disambled it. Any thougts on cause or fix????????:

MY guess would be something foreign needs to be removed is broken or bent. Dissemble and look things over. 60's are not real complected IIRC but it's been 20 years since I owned one.

Thanks I guess that is what I am going to have to do. Time to disassemble.

This may be a stupid question, but, you did push in the bolt hold open lever near the trigger guard, right?
