My cartridge guide spring that sits above the barrel camber opening broke awhile back. Figured I'd order a new one from numrich while they're still available.
My question is does any one know if the barrel has to be removed from receiver in order to replace this part? The end of the broken piece sticks out a bit, enough to get a slight grip with needle nose pliers but pulling slightly if feels like it won't come out.
Looks like the barrel is pinned to the receiver. If it needs to come apart is removing the pin and removing the barrel problematic? Once taken apart will it all go back together and be just as tight?
I'll try contacting marlin but I thought I'd try here first.
