Shave the area where the incision is to be made-whoops wrong one.

Check clear, field strip and remove grips. The firing pin is removed by pressing down on the sear lever at the point indicated and then pushing the firing pin in until the stop can be removed from the slide.

When you put your top end back together always make sure the recoil spring guide is oriented as shown(flat to flat) or you could tie up your pistol and damage the recoil guide.

The sear lever/firing pin safety/spring and extractor/spring are each held in place in the slide by a roll pin, not removed for photos, but easy to do.

The trigger group is removed by pressing out the trigger pin and then removing the trigger by pulling down and to the side. That trigger pin can be difficult. Work carefully and support the frame using appropriate punches, right to left. I prefer a machinist"s vise and a homemade tool to press it out. A few will come out easily.

The components and the evil French magazine disconnect which is removed by driving out the small pin toward the rear of the trigger. Toss the small pin, spring and mag disconnect in the trash where they belong. Reassemble trigger by installing through trigger guard and install trigger pin after checking for proper installation of trigger lever-the long thin part that pushes the sear lever to drop the hammer.

The trigger spring powers trigger return, locates the trigger pin and locates and powers the trigger lever.

Remove the right side safety by tapping out the roll pin from bottom of safety lever.

At this point I like to gently lower the hammer by pressing on the front of the sear.

Now remove the sear pin and sear, then pivot the ejector forward, this will allow removal of the safety, hammer and strut and the ejector. The Magazine catch is removed just like a 1911, by pressing in on it and gently turning the slotted screw head 1/4 turn to the left, it takes very little pressure once positioned properly.

Note that this photo shows the approximate position of the hammer, sear and sear spring in the pistol, but the top of the sear spring actually rides behind the sear.

Reassemble by installing sear spring followed by hammer and strut. Then position ejector and push in safety while pulling hammer into position. At this point get a zip tie, line or wire to hold the hammer back slightly while pushing sear into place and installing sear pin. All done.
The mainspring(hammer spring) was changed to a 26lb vs the 32lb in the stock pistol. 26lb is the old standard. This is done by tightening the knurled nut at the end of the strut until the retaining pin can be freed then removing the nut, replacing the spring, tightening the nut until the retaining pin can be fitted then loosening the nut until it captures the pin.
Hope this helps someone.
