Marlin vs Remington

I have the classic Marlin 336 in 30-30 and a few other marlins, the bullets are cheap and if your looking for a good powerful brush gun get the marlin, I paid right at $300 for mine from walmart, I now own 4 marlins (336w 30/30, 444, 336c 35, the classic model 1895 45/70) As you can tell I'm a big fan of marlin firearms, I'd go for a marlin you'll not regret it.

can't tell you what to get

but i can tell you that my favorite "all around" rifle is a remington modle 600 in .308 (this is a predisussor to the 673).
i have other rifles that do certin things better but none that are quite as usable in any situation.
