So, how's those critters for eating purposes? Regular old domestic farm pigs are yummy, but I've never tasted any wild ones. To me, they don't look too appealing, and especially big old boars. I'd love to shoot some wild pigs, just not sure I'd want to eat them.....
My hogs are very tasty. I do not shoot many hogs, I trap most of my hogs. I have been using the same pen trap for years. I can easily feed and water the hogs in the trap. I usually pre pay for corn and a hog feed called "finisher". When my feed runs out I butcher the hogs. After I get plenty in the freezer I let my friends have run of the place until they kill or drive the hogs off my property.

IMHO they are way better than store-bought, factory pork, IF they are promptly processed in the field. They are basically organic, free-range animals, many in TX feed on acorns and pecans.
