I have what I think is a model 1938 Turkish Mauser. The ejector arm has been broken since I have owned it so I finally replaced it. I was told any large ring ejector arm would work so I purchased a standard K98 ejector arm. When I went to install it, the K98 ejector arm was obviously larger and would not fit. The unbroken ejector arm is the nice looking black one. The other is what was in the gun when I bought it.

Saw this on ebay for a model 93 and 95 Mauser. Could this work?

I am not sure where to go from here. Any help identifying the broken ejector arm would be great.

You have a 1903 Turkish Mauser which uses the shorter, called intermediate, action. it should be similar to M48, and 24/47 Mauser intermediate actions.
Your action was German made for the Turks around 1903, then converted from 7.65x53 Mauser to the 8mm Mauser cartridge in the year stamped on the receiver.
I'm not sure if parts are available or not.

Bottom line - it is a very simple part. You should be able to modify another ejector to fit your action or make one from scratch out of a piece of plate stock. A drill, a grinder, some files, a little imagination, and a bit of your time.

Numrich says they have the m48 ejector, and it's likely the closest thing to the one that you need. You could try to reshape the 98 ejector that you have, but that's up to you.

I have a complete M1903/38 rifle myself.

The tipoff to the 1903 is the oversize ejector box tab. Many important parts for the 1903 are hard to find, and I could not come up with any original ejector for you in my searches.

Thanks for all the help guys. Looks like I am getting my tools out today to reshape the k98 ejector.

Resized the K98 ejector with a dremmel and it works great. Thanks for the help.

I am about ready to fire this old Mauser and just wanted to confirm that this can fire the 8mm JS (.323 dia). Can anyone confirm this?

Yes, the conversion done to the Turkish Mausers was the 8x57 JS. The action was notched to allow clearance for the longer 8mm FMJ to be loaded by stripper clip.
Here's a link to an informational page on the Turkish arms.
