The rifle is a customized VZ24 rebarreled in .30-06. It came with a scope attached to the receiver by a Redfield-style dovetail mounting system (single dovetail). It had a cheap scope with beaten-up rings. The mount was a little beaten up, too, but I gave it a try. Long story short, I have a nice scope with nice Redfield-style rings, and the mount is junk.
So... I'm just looking for recommendations/experiences with Redfield-style mounts for the VZ24. If I'm not mistaken, it should take the same mounts as the Mauser 98? It is drilled with 2 holes at the front of the receiver and 1 hole in the back. Here's a picture of what it has on it that has been stripped and comes loose very easily.

Is there any looming reason a new one of those wouldn't be a good choice? If there is a better option in Redfield-style, that would be great. I'll also consider a different style, but since I already have nice rings for that style, I'd obviously prefer that route.
If I'm leaving out vital information, let me know!
Thanks!
