May have a shot to buy an Anaconda

I have a buddy with a 4" .44 magnum Anaconda in very good plus condition. It has been used and carried some. I have shot this a few times and shoot it exceptionally well. He is thinking that he may want to sell it, but neither of us really know what a "used" Anaconda is bringing. The prices I have seen on Gunbroker tend to be pretty high, but many of them are almost pristine, which is not what his is. Thanks.

How good of a buddy is he? Offer $250 and see what happens. Just kidding .

I would start at $600 and go up to $800. They can be worth more, but the current market is not a good comparison to their true value.

Just bought my anaconda 6 inch. 44mag at the LGS LNIB
It was my holy grail of pistols you just don't see them come up for sale around here.
Could of bought at gun broker but would of paid about the same, so decided to stay local
with tax it was around 2k

A 4" brings more money than the more common 6". A decent used one is easily a $1000+ gun.

Decent condition ones show around here for about $1000.

I foolishly sold a pristine 4" model about a year back for $750; still wearing the "kick me here" sign

I have seen them typically priced in the $900 and up range. Don't usually see that many 4" barrel models so now might be a good time to see what your friend will take for it.
