It just so happens I've been aching for one of these for a year now - ever since I learned it was so close in size to the Rohrbaugh, but much more affordable and arguably more reliable.

So I'll post a few pics, but I'm doing all this from my smart phone so it may not go as well as i'd like (the pictures sure didn't). It should be noted that I have medium sized hands for a 6' tall guy. But it still makes this PM9 look awful small. I'd posted on one of the threads here just a couple days ago that I'd decided to opt for the CM9, but when I came across this one gently used, I hadda snatch it up. It will soon sport a CT laserguard.

If you aren't going to pocket carry it, get a Pearce grip extension. I agree with you on the CT addition. I could never really do that well with the PM9 until I added the CT. It is now deadly accurate and fast on target.

Congrats on your purchase. Try various carry and range ammo and see what it likes.

DAdams, what carry and range ammo did yours like?

340, are you saying your PM9 didn't do so well with factory stuff?

Dr 2 B, of course you can show off. This place would be boring without all the neat pics. Awesome find on a lightly used PM9 too.

Dr, I am a Bulldog of the solid white variety. Nov. 5th will be quite interesting.

I like the Kahr pistols alot. I have thought about adding the CM9 to my collection.

Congrats on the new gun, hope it serves you well.

Funny tho that You see 2 different styles of slides on the same model pistol. Mine happens to be the earlier ( ? ) squared end model. I wonder what was the reason to bevel the end ? Nice pistol, I carry the same model , but choose to go with the stock sights, this weapon for Me is strictly a defensive one and being so found no need for a laser, same with My LCP. For Me they are pretty much point and shoot weapons at point blank attacker range to either stop the attack or support my retreat. Hate to have those batteries fail at just the wrong moment. ....WVleo

My EDC is the CM9...got to love these little Kahrs
I recently changed carry ammo to Hornady Critical Defense 115g FTX, it runs perfectly and with much better groupings than the Federal LE Barns XPB +P stuff I was running.

DRTB-

Following the successful break in (it took one trip back to the factory to get this PM9 right) I ran three magazines of each of these through it successfully. I have also run a couple boxes of WWB as-well. So far so good.

Here is the DeSantis Holster I picked up on Optics Planet. The PM9 with the CT laser fits and there is room for an extra magazine.

I really like the CT (I got it through Optics Planet as-well). I do a whole lot better accuracy wise and get on target much faster than I used to.

Dadams, how do you like that desantis holster? Seems to defeat the compactness of the pm9.

I caary my Kahr PM-9 in a pocket holster with the flush fitting 6 round magazine. I have been amazed by the accuracy of this tiny pistol - I can easilly place all 7 shots into a 3 inch circle at 7 to 10 yards.

Lookin' good. I only had one failure with my PM9, and that was the very first time out I was shooting it -- had one failure to feed and I think it was my fault: I didn't realize that the Kahr mags are a little finicky to load. Once I realized that, never had a problem after that.

I had the same DeSantis holster but for a non-CT-equipped pistol...my complaint was that it felt like the draw was too tight and that I was trying way too hard to draw. I wound up carrying the PM9 primarily with a High Noon Bare Asset holster and carrying a reload in my front weakside pocket. (I use the same DeSantis holster for my LCP, though.)

I'm not completely sold on the DeSantis holster and with the extra magazine it's rather heavy. I'm going to try wearing it this winter IWB and see how it works out. I haven't ever carried that way and I am interested in trying it out. If it works well I may go a higher end and better fitting holster.

I just couldn't get with the program of carrying the PM9 in the DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster. I found it too heavy. I really like the gun though and am determined to fit it into my carry life in some way.

I mostly pocket carry a Seecamp LWS .380 (no CT) or S&W M&P 340 revolver (with CT). These are 3-4 ounces lighter than the PM9 loaded which I find significant and I am more prone to carry that way.
