I did not buy any bullets. I did not want to have any rounds lying around
Hey I don't blame her! I just cleaned out my truck the other day and had to destroy and dispose of some 'rounds lying around' found under the seat of my truck that have been there for who knows how long. Some .22 shells mixed into some sort of glop that might have once been a candybar and some 8mm and shotgun shells where the brass was in an advanced state of corrosion.

new here

hello to all, this is my first post here, at the risk of hijacking this thread, I just wanted to say to all, that the mentality here is a breath of freash air as compared to the ar15 board regarding this subject. embarassed to be part of that group at times, there is some good people there that share good info. sad about the others.
hope I can contribute good and positive to this forum.
Thank you
Dave

Welcome dmdracer!

I also read the arfcom thread, and even though I've lurked there on and off for about 5 years now, recently there have been more and more incidents there like this one that is starting to make me not go there as often.

For a fact, that behavior has prevented me from becoming a paying member of arfcom....

What am I missing?

Why could she not purchase the rifle with her New York State DL? It is permitted by federal law. AFAIK, it is permitted by PA law, also. Is this another case of an FFL creating further restrictions on RKBA than necessary?
