mec 650??

I have a mec 650 progressive press. i want to try to start reloading if possible some turkey loads. just wondering if i can load ITX shot with this press. i got the press in a deal with a super sizer and a 10/10 rcbs scale. i also have acess to a mec 600jr. so i guess my question is can i load turkey loads with the 650? i dont want to reload the hevi-shot just yet.just want to try my hand with the other shot i can use without buying a new press.

Why not give MEC customer service people a call and ask them? I've called before and they have always been a group of courteous and helpful people.

You won't be able to do 3" on the 650, it's strictly a 2-¾ loader. The 600 jr. CAN be stretched out to load the 3" stuff. You would most likely have to weight the ITX shot, it would be difficult to get to flow through the shot bar.

thanks for the reply. I will give MEC a call tommorow. Thats what i thought the 650 was only for the 2 3/4. My dad has a 600 jr. I have the scale if i need it.
