Hi, I have a Meridwn model 10 and I would like some more infomation on this gun. I can`t find much on the internet. I got the gun from my great grandfather and he had the gun for about 80 years. He said that his uncle gave the gun to him and it was about already 50 years old when he got the gun. He said they sold for about $8 a gun.

Does anybody have a rough estimate on the value of the gun? I would never sell the gun but just wanted to know. Thanks any help given to me. :D

It kinda looks like the Rem Rolling block, or the Rider. What caliber approx. is it?

Should be a .22 with a 22" barrel; Meriden made these between 1908 and 1915, but I've got no idea what they're worth.

Like most rifles of the type, those guns have only nominal value ($50 or so). There is some collector interest, but only when the gun is almost brand new. Most of those guns have seen a lot of use and abuse, with shot out or rusted out barrels, worn or missing parts, and little or no original finish.

Sentimental value as a family heirloom - priceless.
