Mexico's troubles

Wow, judging by the vitriol posted here it sounds like Mexican immigrants in the U.S. (both legal and illegal) really need to start arming themseves for defense against some anti-immigrant moron who decides to take the law into his own hands

If they are here illegally, they are criminals. They should be arrested and incarcerated. Deportation does not work. If they are armed and resist arrest, they should be treated as any other armed felon.

They should also be ready to defend their lives and liberty from the jack-booted thugs of the ICE.

I guess you haven't been looking at the crime statistics lately; you've got it backwards, friend.

As for Art's remark, I offered my thoughts on the matter: This is already a matter of military, not police, dimensions. When you have an alien government (Mexico) complicit with a criminal enterprise that is infiltrating your country and operating from bases within their home state, you are in a de facto war situation. That our own Government and business interests appear not to care that much only underscores the complexity and difficulty of the solution. Obviously, we are going to need domestic political leadership that puts THIS nation first and understands what's at stake. Where that leadership is going to come from is anyone's guess.

I have no problem with people who break immoral laws. In general, breaking immoral laws should be applauded.

Durruti...

Are laws making breaking and entering illegal immoral?

Once again excellent statement.! I do not see our current crop of leaders running for office who will stand up and do the job I think that is my concern more then the fact it has reached this point.

The drug cartel has in my opinion worked it's way into our system at many levels soon it will be too late for troops on the border and they will be needed in our major cities to stop the violence.
