Should be a great day to bring the kids with lots of events, fun and FREE LUNCH! :D Hope to see many there!

:banghead: I have a wedding in Jerkwater Ohio that day! My wifes nephew.

If either one of them get cold feet and leave the other standing at the alter I'll hunt them down and sew them together at the hip.

Yes, I'd rather be at the Family Firearm Day than at a wedding with all my in-laws  . Is that so wrong?

I'm still kicking myself for not being as smart as she was!

By the way..does it worry you that I have your M1 torn apart on my dining room table?

It should. I don't know how to put it back together.

:D :D :D

It should. I don't know how to put it back together.

Now, that isn't something to joke about. Something about Grandpa going 'It may have been 50 years since I used one of these, but I can remember how to take it apart', and about the time every piece is taken apart, 'Well, I can't remember how to get it back together. Been too long' :banghead:

:)

Btw..I'm teasing. John here is a great guy and one of my best buddies. :)

He's also the person who loaned (but refuses to sell me) the M1 I've been shooting.

Of course, any stories he tells about me can be immediately disregarded as untrue. Especially if they involve chocolate!

My daughter and I are taking a hunter safety course starting this week. Not so she can hunt but so she can shoot at the ranges I go to. This would be a nice follow up and sounds like fun. Hopefully we can make it out for a couple hours, thanks for the heads up.

(note to self, don't loan guns to Barbara)

Hey.....I think I get it now, Barbara!
Rather than "How much do you want for the M1", it's: "How much for this pile of parts on my kitchen table?" Very sneaky!!! :D

Ok, next year's event is scheduled for May 20th at Howell Gun Club. Volunteers welcome and encouraged. This is a huge amount of fun and one of the best ways I know to ensure that people enjoy shooting well into the future.
