5.10 145lbs
Never have found a good way for a full size anything.
The closest i have come is the bianchi 7/7l
For the sp101 20161215_074556.jpg
But where i live open carry is legal and i have a CCW anyway.
Otherwise i would always have to wear some baggy

At 62 i have tried every holster available. The stretch 4 inch wide belly band works for me. They are cheap on ebay, only 21.00 dollars. They can be worn around your belly not under it.. the elastic holster is very comfortable, can be worn in a car, or walking. My gut loves it!

I manage an IWB at 4 o'clock for my 1911A1 when it's too warm for a jacket, and have a OWB Galco pancake for other times. I'm getting a decent 'spread', so t-shirt tails hang pretty good for me..

S&W 638 in a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster. At 60 years old and 290 lbs on a 5'10" frame the "J" fits my EDC needs well. An old hiking pouch with a shoulder strap easily carries my GLOCK 22 concealed in plain view. An option for the second gun with more and bigger bullets. This system is working well for me here in central Florida.

About that extra hundred pounds and its effect on self defense...

Honestly I am 190 and 6 foot tall, owned a health club, but my back is bad. That's the issue. But even when it wasn't, back in the olden days, like the 70's, we all wore a holster on the hip, shoulder or anke. I can't wear a shoulder rig in this heat, nor an ankle rig either.
So i am back to a conventional holster or a Blade Tech, "they are the thinnest I have found" after trying most other types, The Remora and stickey, work in the sense that I put a clip on 2 of mine and they stay iwb, in sweat pants, without a clip they fall right through.
I emailed them 2 years ago and told them they needed a clip, and guess what, now they offer one. But IWB is still a bitch to pull from fast enough for my liking. And I am not a heavy guy. It is just tight when you pull that belt to keep it from poking out.
The tactical pants from LAPD work, but you look like a Lineman for the County. I ordered another couple of pairs, brcause at least they have a dozen pockets. i can get a 26 or 19 in the waistband and a lcp or PM9 in a snapped pocket. along with mags and a phone and car keys. Soon I am just going to hire a guy to carry my stuff.
If someone has a better holster let me know, is the Safariland any better than the Blade tech. Also Bikini holsters work great, but your gun is visible unless you have tee shirts that hang down to your knees.
If this keeps up I will have to invent my own. I lost my text formatting after posting, weird. Lots of new computer Viruses last 2 days be careful, I scanned twice today and found 6 more.
Sounds like for where you live you need to concede that carrying larger guns concealed just doesn't work. It's hot here too, and a lightweight revolver with barrel 3" or less carries just fine. Semi-autos don't work, because people rationalize why a smaller caliber is okay. You have to pick a holster that allows you to perspire on it rather than the gun, so I tend to favor the thumb breaks or nylon grips.

I'm 54, 6'4" and 320lbs. I made an IWB holster for my Helwan and wore it comfortably in a 4- o'clock position under a T-shirt all day without my wife or two houseguests noticing. There is likely to be a similar commercial product- it is a IWB with a radical forward cant. It's modeled after a holster I made for a factory-custom Detonics Scoremaster with a carbon-steel longslide- not a small gun! Here are some pics-

This is with a pretty inadequate belt- works even better with a stout 2" Belt. The belt-loop location is important. The position places it perfectly for a draw after sweeping a covering garment and quite good for drawing from under a t-shirt or polo shirt.

Speaking of belts a good purpose-built gunbelt is a life-changing experience when it comes to CC.

No offense, but that does not look like a cocealed handgun. I think in this case you would be better off with an OWB holster, that rides high, or a bikini type holster that just is really a loop made of leather that is a minamilist holster. Also Blade Tech makes some IWB holsters that are extremly thin, and slide inside of just about anything.

No offense taken, George. While it may not appear to be a CC holster in the photo it is in fact a good CC in-person in the real world. My bad, I suppose, for not taking better photos. I actually tucked the shirt behind it to show the holster; with the shirt out it hid the gun quite well.

I'm not sure what you're seeing. It looks like a perfectly good concealment holster. Is there a characteristic you see that makes it not concealable.

Edit to add: This holster looks like the old AKJ Concealco, when they were in business, or the Andrews MacDaniel, or Rosen ARG.
