I heard that Mideayusa gives C&R holders dealer pricing on all their items. I went to the site and found a mailing address for FFLs, but how exactly do I get discounts? Do they send me something in the mail?

You need to go ahead and create a login account on their website, they will make that account a dealer account.

Brownells is the same.

Savings of less than a buck?! It almost isn't even worth the postage to mail them my C&R. Who am I kidding? I'll send it anyway.

I still see $50-$150 discounts on Leupold and Sightron scopes. Significant discounts on ammo. They don't normally give much of a discount on items on sale.

As noted above (on two seperate replies), set up a web account, mail in your C&R copy, and note in the mailing your web account. They will then connect the license with the account and afford you the discount.

I think you are crazy not to get it. I order Pro-Mag .30 Carbine, 30 round magazines for $7.00 less a piece. Order five of them and you just saved $35.00. That is just one example. You can save alot of money if you do a good amount of shooting and buy equipment/supplies on a regular basis.

It easily pays for the cost of getting your C&R license if you haven't already saved by getting a discount on a rifle.

I buy a variety of items from midway and sometimes it's a buck or two and sometimes its $20 or $30.

Of course the more expensive the item, usually the bigger the discount.

It definitely is worth doing though.

I just bought a Leupold VX-III and it saved me a good $50 off between the scope and the mounts.

That alone paid for my C&R.

Sure some low margin items are only a buck or 2 cheaper but so what.
