Anyone know how far Midway is backed up on thier orders, I got half of my stuff last week, still waiting for the rest of my order,(the big stuff) they better not slip it to me on the shipping again!
If it doesn't come end of this week I'm going to cancel.
Thanks for any comments,
Floyd

Make sure they weren"t back ordered on the stuff...normally Midway is the fastest from order to door for me.

Give 'em a call. Their CS dept. is very good and usually quite helpful.

Yeah go to their website and cancel all backorders . ( Go to the midway site, on the bottom of the page look for order info. then click on "view your orders". Then at the bottom of that page is your backorders. To the right is a CANCEL link. click on that, then click on cancel this order and return to orders page, done! Otherwise they will ding you for shipping on each item as they receive it! Then put all those items on a new order, with a reminder to be sent to you when the stuff comes in.

Never had a problem with Midway ever.

They are very up front about what's in stock and what's not when you order it.

They have an option at checkout to hold your order untill everything is in stock before they ship to save you money, or they'll send what's available now and send the rest later at additional charges.

The choice was yours.

Midways shipping is excellent. Pricy sometimes, but excellent. When you order items it will show if it is a backordered item. Easy to miss really. I have. :)

I hate the fact that midway charges you S&H on the original order and then again on the backorder items too. I was going to order 4 items, all light. They were going to charge me close to $8.20 on the original order and $9.54 again for the second shipping. The entire order only came to $37 without shipping and they wanted to add almost $18 to a $37 order.

I mean this, everything was light! In the order was some very small plastic pieces for a press, 3 ammo boxes, a case length gauge and 100 brass cases for the .38 S&W. (and the brass was in the first S&H charge which was lower)

They are out of hand with their S&H charges IMO. Other online stores don't charge you twice for S&H when they have an item on backorder!

It's the "and Handling" where they make the $$.

Alot of places use this to pay for the labor for packing the items and some extra profit.

I'll pay for shipping, the handling should be figured in the cost of the item purchased.

Just my .02 no handling charges included.

:mad:Well, I checked on my order and the status is they expect the rest of my stuff by the 18th, so I may as well wait, I suppose it will be another $12.85 for shipping again, that jerks my chain!
It should all be included in the original first shipping cost, it's not my fault they didn't have all the items.
May be the last time I order from them!
Thanks for listening, Floydster
