It's been awhile since I have ordered reloading goodies from anyone, including Midway. The last thing I ordered was a pair of electronic ear protection muffs for my son and had them drop-shipped to him. As he lives 1300 miles away, it was the right thing to do.

Now Midway's website is shipping my bullets to him! I tried to ship them to me, but for some reason , their checkout system did not reset for me.:cuss: I tried. I went through all the steps and when the order went through it says it is shipping to my son.:cuss::cuss: As: 1) he doesn't reload and 2) he doesn't have a .243 Win. rifle, I am pretty sure he will raise an eyebrow if my Berger 115 grain hunting bullets appear on his doorstep. o_O:rolleyes:

In the meantime, I have sent Midway an email through their "contact us". I hope this goes better than their checkout procedure! :scrutiny:

Good suggestion. They are closed Saturday and Sunday.
Will probably try to beat them to the punch tomorrow, though.Tried to cancel the order via their website but the option did not function.

Midway had one of the easiest and consumer friendly website I have used. Never an issue. If you made 2 orders and looks like months apart it was your obligation to check shipping locations.

This is not midwayusa issue. It draws addresses from logins which you are free to change. They will help you I bet but this is why companies charge me more for shipping.

Midway seems slammed with orders right now and there shipping is a little slow so I bet if you call in the morning they can fix your issue.

During Check-out, there is a page/section that asks where to deliver your items. If you've used more than one address in the past for your purchases, you'll see both listed. You have to check out the one where you want it delivered...there isn't an automatic "reset."

If it shows the wrong address on the "Review Order" page, you can back out and change the delivery address

According to their giant posting on the main page, you have at least 8 days to rectify this.

They have a 8 day, and increasing, delay on shipping due to panic buying.

Their system worked as it should. It remembered where you had your last order sent and sent it there.

I travel all over the country for work and have had packages shipped to many different locations from east coast to west coast and everywhere in between. They have never failed to ship it to exactly where I told them to.

Haven't been on there since last week, but Midway did have a notice posted that their customer service personnel would not be available to receive calls as they were working on filling the abundance of orders. But it may be different today.

The only Berger I use is the 6MM Hybrid 105. Even when Midway puts them on "sale", I can get them cheaper elsewhere.

Hopefully they work better than Brownells. I made an order with a mistake in it. I emailed them about it an hour later and two days later they shipped the entire order with my mistaken item still in the order.

No biggie. It was cheap and my fault and it is probably related to currrent events. I would have called but a message on the website said I would be on hold forever so I said bag that and fired the email instead.

Yes, mine took 9 days recently. So you should have no problem changing the address in time.

You can also do an online chat with them. If they are busy, you will need to wait your turn in the cue. The chat window will tell you how many are ahead of you, and update every couple minutes.

I would be sure to have your info handy.

I’ve made a similar mistake as the OP but with the wrong credit card. It was no big deal and I shifted some money around in my budget to fix the problem. I now review my orders very closely after that. MidwayUSA never seems to be the best price but I’ve been extremely happy with their service. They are by far the least goof prone seller I’ve ever ordered from.

Midway has always treated me good and has always answered and questions, contact them I think they will make it right. I feel their sale prices are very competitive, especially when they have free shipping over $49.

I DID check shipping location 2 different times and the checkout did not accept the address change.
BTW, Midway did not answer my email and they shipped the bullets to my son in Sioux Falls, SD. I am in a suburb of Phoenix, AZ.
No. 1 son will apply a new address label and send it on its way to me. I'm in no hurry. Ben Avery is closed to the public until further notice.

Yes. I did this two times and it still shipped to No.1 son's address.

BTW, FWIW, I have been ordering from midway since the days of the mailed pulp-paper flyers and free shipping. When they went to charging shipping in relation to the dollar amount of the order, I let them know I would be ordering elsewhere until that changed as there were expensive, lightweight items that ended up with terrible shipping charges. Think scopes. A $40 barska and a $900 Leupold weighed nearly the same. One would cost $3 or $4 (at the time) to ship and the Leupold would cost $20 or more.

When they went to charging actual shipping costs, I went back. It really didn't take that long, IIRC, maybe a little more than a year.

UPDATE: Midway customer service answered my email this morning. Too late! USPS has it in their system and it will get delivered to No.1 Son.
I answered back that it will be delivered and No.1 Son will slap a new address label on it and send it on to me.

Midway has been the slowest of all the online merchants I have been using these past few weeks. Everyone has the "Current Situation" excuse, so I bite my lip. Really nothing you can say without sounding like an *******. Funny though how Dillon ships me an order the day I order it online and it arrives at my doorstep 2 days later. :scrutiny:

I noticed midway was the slowest also

In the past 20 years I've moved 5 times while using Midway. Never had a problem ordering and nothing went to the wrong address. Would have to say you weren't paying attention to what you were doing. Unfortunately you couldn't have picked a worse time to do this as I would guess Midway doesn't answer phones now.

I would reorder and pay attention to the address this time. As someone else suggested let your son send them to you at a later date.
