They have caps in my semi local shop, $10 for #10 and $11 for #11. I seen a whole rack of cci #10 at another shop, bought them all for $6 eachI'd like to know what happened to the steel frame 1858 Buffalo's that Pietta made. Those have been on my list for years, Covid is over, what's with the continued shortages for cap n ball revolvers?
I can see why the prices are dropping, there are no caps to be had to shoot them!
Muzzleloader.com has some but they are $15 a tinI'd like to know what happened to the steel frame 1858 Buffalo's that Pietta made. Those have been on my list for years, Covid is over, what's with the continued shortages for cap n ball revolvers?

were C&B prices cheaper before covid?I'd like to know what happened to the steel frame 1858 Buffalo's that Pietta made. Those have been on my list for years, Covid is over, what's with the continued shortages for cap n ball revolvers?

Much Cheaper! Between the shutdown of Italian Armories and the Covid Relief checks from the government, supply shut down and demand skyrocketed. Used guns started going for twice what they had been selling for. Used guns seem to be coming back in line now that the new guns are once again available and most folks have blown through their windfalls! Sadly for retail, once it goes up, it takes a depression before it starts back down.were C&B prices cheaper before covid?
I didn't know birthday prices was a thing at Midway. The 1858 carbine is Screaming my name right now. With bday prices it $448 I'm thinking hard about it

That is bonkers I couldn't justify that price when I could get one in great shape if not new for $300 to $400 and most likely shoot as good.
I been telling people, my buds who are Plastic Wonder Guns, and Tactical Ninjas all have expressed interest in C&B and Cowboy guns. Even the Cool youtubers are showing interest in Black Powder!!! Good thing Estes will be cranking out Black Powder soon. That is bonkers I couldn't justify that price when I could get one in great shape if not new for $300 to $400 and most likely shoot as good.

So all you old timers with more knowledge that a museum, write down what you know. Because someones gotta teach us! I personally LOVE the look of Old guns from the 1700’s to 1900’s! and the 1911!!!
$60 then had the buying power of $600 now
