Midway USA - Redemption

I previously posted in another thread about an odd issue I had with Midway - http://www.thehighroad.org/showpost.php?p=7505500&postcount=29.

Recently, I was randomly googling parts to see if anything was on sale for the next AR upper I'm planning to build. Midway had the DD Omega-X 12.0 FSP for $199, while it was $270+ everywhere else. Being the good hearted fella I am (okay, cheap SOB really ) I decided to give Midway a second chance, order this part for 1/3 less than everyone else was selling it for. This time the item added to my cart at the correct price. Account setup, and checkout were a breeze. The shipping options were great, and I even rounded up for the NRA. I ordered it Wednesday, and it arrived today in perfect shape.

Midway has redeemed themselves in my eyes, and I think publicly complimenting them on THR is the right thing to do. Great job Midway.

Ugaar Guy--Glad you had a good experience w/Midway. I have always found them to be VERY square shooters, quick shippers, no misplaced nor misdirected items, helpful when 'phoned, just all-around Good People.

I think most gripes related to midway are shipping related, mostly to no cost savings with shipping cost for small orders. Without shipping there pricing is good. Sounds like you got a hell of a deal

Sounds great! Midway certainly has some great deals out there.

I personally have only had great experiences with them. I recently placed a $200+ order, only for a coupon to be released on their newly created Facebook page 2 days later. I wrote Customer Service an email regarding the situation to see what/if they could do, and they credited my account with $10 in 'Midway Money' to compensate for what I would have earned from the discount. So now I have $10 free to spend on my next order. They easily could have said no, but instead they gave me a few bucks. I appreciated that, and it's service like that that will keep me spending my money there when I need shooting related accessories.
