Midway USA?

Hey guys

I've been trying to get on Midway USA the past couple of weeks to order some reloading components, but their site hasn't been working. Does anyone know what's going on?
 
Neither of the computers are loading Midway...

I'll try to figure something out.

In the meantime, does anyone happen to know how much they are selling #8 lead shot for?
 
Strange you can't get it to come up, did you clear your cookies and cache like recommended?

Midway's been working for me.

TDH - Midway wants $32/25lb bag for Lawrence magnum lead shot, or $73/delivered for 50lbs. Wideners is cheaper, at $24/bag plus flat rate shipping (since you can get two bags per $10 box).

The ony caveat is that the Widener's shot (made by Star) is not made in the US, if that sort of thing matters to you...
 
I've probably looked at midway every day for the last two weeks. Their site is definitely working.

Yeah, cleared everything. It may have to do with my connection speed or something. I'll try to figure it out.

Well it's certainly good to know that it's cheaper than $45/bag that it was over the summer, even if it's online.

I may end up ordering from Widener's. I reloaded for 3 years of so, but had to stop because factory ammo was cheaper because of the price of lead of the time.

I am trying to load for trap league, and the $9/box at Dick's they want for premium ammo is just too much for me to spend, so I decided to get some shot and load up a couple cases and be done with it. But prices aside, I need shot withing the next couple weeks, and where I usually get reloading components from is clean out of everything, so wherever I can find it is where I'm going to get it from.

FWIW, I would prefer to buy American.

Site is slower then dirt and prices on what they have in stock are higher then what you can buy elsewhere.
 
Its working--but unfortunately everything I'm looking for is on backorder.

They prices are sometimes better--sometimes worse---as with anything--you have to shop around.

There is a local place selling it for $38/25#, which actually may be cheaper taking shipping into account. Although I have only heard that they have it in stock, and you know how word of mouth goes...
 
Ok, I don't think I'll get this to work regardless. You need to be 21 to register an account at Wideners, and I don't even know if they ship to MA. I tried calling but they are not taking calls due to a lot of sales or something, so I don't even know their policies.
 
Went on line Monday at noon and placed order. Came in Wednesday's mail. Can't complain about that.
 
Their prices aren't as good as they used to be, I definately check around, sometimes even Cabelas beats them.

And now that they don't ship ammo to NJ without the body cavity inspection where other sites still do . . . I will give the business to others first. Used to do a lot with them before that . . .

When you say doesn't work, do you mean loads real slow, or you get a 404 i.e. doesn't load at all?

If you are doing it from work then they may have started blocking the site.

If from home, you may want to download an alternate browser - since I downloaded Internet Explorer 8, I have been having trouble with some sites, so I often use Firefox or Apple Safari as backup.
 
It's worked good enough to take money from me almost every week for the last few months. Wouldn't want it to work any better. Just ordered 1000 bullets a couple nights ago.
 
Ever get it working? If not, describe your internet connection starting with your computer type and OS, any spyware, virus, popup, or adware protection software running, what connects your computer to the LAN (if any), any network hardware you are using including routers, modems, or hubs, and what service you are using to connect to the WAN.
