Reported just now on Fox News. I can't find a link on Foxnews.com, and I'm at home today on a slow connection. I checked Youtube, but don't know which of the clips are the one they showed on Foxnews. If anyone finds the link, please add it.

The footage was filmed by professional photographers and sponsored by the US Military. Interesting footage.

It shows troops using M24 sniper rifle, the M107 .50 caliber sniper rifle, and showed US troops using AK-47's.

There have been numerous discussions of whether US troops use AK's on occassion in Iraq. I think this video ends those.

There was a thread talking about military snipers a while back, now those are snipers.

I find it interesting the interaction between the spotter and the sniper, also didn't expect to see the spotter firing so many grenades.

After seeing that video, I see a need for two things. Barrett's payload rifle(25mm) would rock over there, and a need for a suppressor of some sorton the .50. The dust signiture on that Barret is HUGE.

This is the exact opposite of the jihadi videos terrorist organizations have been putting on the internet. I love it!

I watched the Haifa St clip - those were Iraqi troops. That being said, I know for a fact that there's more than 1 US trooper who's used an AK on-the-fly while in Iraq - big difference to actually carrying one full-time on patrol.
