Doing a google search turned up this page at Arsenal for the SAS M-7. It says it is discontinued. I wonder if they are making more or if they had some left over? I'll call one of their distributors and find out tomorrow.
That is not in any way shape or form what they have pictured in the SGN add. The stock is diffrent, (at a diffrent angle and the struts are totally diffrent in design), and the upper and lower forend are black polymer bulgarian style, grip is also diffrent. The main thing is that it does not have the nasty tublar strut stock that is tilted so far down. Its just not the same gun. But they are calling it the same name, just without the "Classic" after the disignation.
I own a milled SAM7R with a PK-AS red dot. I can honestly say after owning and shooting several stamped variants that I am a better shot with the SAM7R. I think I'm more confident behind a good looking rifle. With the red dot I get a noticeable change in my POI from 100 yards, my groupings are tighter and more distinguishable. So have you all seen the new Arsenal Krinks in 7.62x39?
