Millet adj rear sight blade loose

Does anyone know what the cure would be to keep the rear blade from easily moving from side to side after the left/right screw has been tighten? Is their suppose to be a spring inside there or something? If so there is not one in there when you take the set screw out. Maybe I just need to get a new rear sight or maybe just locktight it. Thanks for any help.

"...get a new rear sight..." What's it on?
"...easily moving..." That under recoil or finger? Are you sure it's the rear sight that's moving? I'm wondering if the front sight is on properly. Assuming you changed that too.

I've got Millet rear sights on 3 of my revolvers. A Ruger, Dan Wesson, and S&W, and none of them have any looseness. Sounds like you may have lost a detent or your spring has been crushed.

I'd contact www.millettsights.com and see if they can help you out.
