Mini 14 model/mag question

I've been looking at getting a Ruger Mini 14.

With the exception of magazine capacity, is there any difference between the 14/5 and the 14/20? If not, it seems silly for them to sell the ones with the 20 round mags as a separate model. If the rifles are the same and the mags are interchangeable, I'd just assume get the 14/5 and then get whatever other additional mags I fancy, be it 20 or 30.

some states have a capacity issue. also hunting is generaly done with a 5 round mag. and have you seen how much it would cost to feed that 20 rounder
