i was looking at the p89 and p95 and like the black p95 better but i am so new to autos i have no idea if a polymer frame is a good or bad thing. also like the 15 rd mags of the p95. is there no way to adjust the sights or do they line up the fixed sights from the factory?

have you guys ever really had a problem with the sights for mostly plinking at about 10-30yds?

heres the page im lookin at ....if i get the link to workhttp://www.ruger-firearms.com/Firearms/FAProdResults?function=famid&famid=3&variation=P95&bct=Yes&type=Pistol

ok i see the sr9 with adjustable sights now but that may be out of my price range lol, plus i still like the look of the p95, gotta find one to see how it feels now.

P95 ++++

The Ruger P95 is one of the best 9mm's available at any price. It is indestructible, accurate, reliable and just a great pistol.

+1 p95 polymer

I too own a p95,great gun ,got it for $325 new in black..........my favorite shooter but ammo ain't cheap..............thats why I have my p22,and A22 I guess.:rolleyes:

Just so you know the p89 and the p95 use the same mags. Mark

I had a P95 and now have a P85 (same as P89 except for the decocker is a little different). Both shoot about the same. Both have about the same quality of trigger. The P95 is a little lighter and a little more compact for carry. I do like the aluminum guns for the ability to put a Hogue grip on 'em. I had a "Handall" on the P95. As a shooter, six of one, half dozen of the other. I really think the P90 is a much better gun, has a better trigger and is quite a bit more accurate, though the P85 and P95 are accurate enough for self defense. P90 is target great accurate, though.
