Mini-14 optics/red dot

Is it possible to get a forward rail/mount so I can put an EOTech on a mini-14 and co-witness it with the iron sights? I kind of want to go with the factory wood stock instead of one of those franken14-tapco stocks.

The new Ruger SR556 looks fantastic, but for twice the price - I don't know much the SR556 can do that the mini-14 can't (except cheaper mags maybe).

Check out the Ultimak rail for the Mini-14. They don't currently have a rail that will fit the new 580-series Minis, but I'm told that they're currently in process and expected to become available within the next few weeks.

Check this out. Wouldn't be able to use the sights but at least it uses the mounts and doesn't clamp onto the barrel like most other designs.
