While going through some of my old stuff, I found about five 30-round Ramline magazines for my Ruger Mini-14. They're all plastic and I'm not even sure they're made anymore. The question is, how good are they?

Also, I seem to have misplaced some of my genuine Ruger 30-round clips (also new) which I put away years ago. Does anyone make a good 30-round or 20-round clip for the Mini-14? I hear that one called the 'Black Warrior' is pretty good. Does anyone have any opinions on these things?

Thanks.

(Any other suggestions also welcome!)

Pro mags are suppose to be the best after market mags for the Mini-14. I hope they are because i just bought two of them and plan on getting a third one tomorrow.

I had to use a diamond stone and take a tiny amount off of the catch so they would snap in easily. After i was through they fit very snuggly and hand cycling they worked perfectly.

This must be common because it is mentioned on the Midway web reveiws for these mags. The reveiwers at Midway gave them 4 stars by the way.

I just bought my Mini and haven't shot it yet. I don't mind telling you i can't hardly wait.

Another vote for the ProMags, the steel ProMags at least. I have 3 20s and they have been 100% trouble free so far. With no filing required for my 2008 Mini.
