Mini 14 Scope mount help

Hey Fellas.
So got hold of Mini 14 183.000 s/n Runs very well but the sight is not set up is not set up for aiming the gun. Not sure if the stock is to big or my face to fat. So need to mount an optic of some sort maybe a magnified red dot.
So here is what im after a mount that needs no drilling NOT a chunk of junk. Now if drilling and tapping is the only way to go i can do that, just would rather not.
I really would like this to be my new favorite love the look and feel but the sights are bad ( for me).
Looked on the innerweb dont trust people selling stuff to tell me how good It is. This innerweb thing is a fad it will be gone soon. Hash tag winking smiley face.

Have a look at the Ultimak rail.

If you can't hold the rifle so the irons are in front of your eye, a scope won't be either. Nor will a scope fix the poor accuracy.
However, what you need is a Weaver style rail. Like this.

The Ultimak puts the scope in the wrong place. On the barrel requires a long eye relief scope too. That's not a big deal, but you need to know about it if you go that way.

If you're not getting a good cheek weld and not comfortable with the iron sights, maybe you'd like to try something forward mounted on a quad rail like this. A scout scope or red dot might do the trick for you.
