For present/recent former Mini 30 owners with only basic cleaning skills:

In order to afford more ammo (and compensate for price increases), among eastern Euro types, would you use Wolf and clean the chamber with a wire brush and chemicals after each session, or buy Yugo corrosive ammo, knowing that the brass shells would be less trouble?

I use Windex down bores of my two Mosins each time they are used due to corrosive primers, followed later by patches with nitro solvent.

My first Mini 30 will be picked up in two day, and it has had 100 rounds fired.

The Yugo stuff is some accurate ammo as well as having better yawing capabilities then most other stuff. It is not that hard to clean the corrosive salts. For Russian ammo I perfer Baurnal (same as silver bear) before Wolf because I get better luck with it. Another good brand that is cheaper is Golden Tiger.
