WE WON ONE!
Minnesota Public Radio's Online News Editor has removed the story they wrote about the VPC / Vulcan arms '...broadest range of assault weapons types that are skirting the law.' It won't be put back up, the editor says, because they have no rewrite staff.
That breaks the link the VPC had put to this story (and, I imagine, the Citizens Concerned (sic).... link that must have been up as well.)
This "win" is one that puts the facts of the AWB issues squarely into the MPR online audience--generally liberal, educated UMC whites--many of whom read but do not post much, if anything here.
(FWIW, the MPR forums are hardly moderated; I know of only one or two people who have been banned, ever. They generally let us sort it out for ourselves--and most of us do name-calling there on a daily basis.)
You can read the MPR FORUM thread here that lead to this if you want to:

ACers99 has a lot of credibility--he unofficially functions as a mouthpiece for the MNRTKBA organization; there are about three or four of us others who generally fight the antigunners there.
IMO, this is an important "win" in getting MPR to recognize the problems with this particular story. I think it will mean that we may have less problems with bias from that operation--at least on the AWB issue.
