Had fun with our THR Tucson outing, but suffered a stuck case in my SAR-2.
As a reminder, do not try to use a graphite (carbon fiber) cleaning rod to knock it out. Especially when the hammer is a tire iron!
Two, don't bother with a wood dowel, I ended up smashing the end and not moving the case anywhere.
Three, do not try to use the broken end of the graphite cleaning rod (which is hollow) and try to nudge it into the barrel with something too short and smaller, result, stuck cleaning rod in barrel due to smaller piece going into the hollow of the rod.
Four, do get correct metal/alluminum cleaning rod which fits barrel and can withstand some hammer blows.
At least it is out, and it looks fine except for where the extractor pulled from the rim the first time. Gonna break out the calipers later, since the primer was blown but that might be because I released the hammer a second time when I loaded it into the car? Dunno. Is it possible for the AK design to fire out of battery since I was trying to bump fire it?
